Parent’s Night out: Join us on Friday February 10th from 5-9pm for a wonderful night. Dancer’s 3-7 will have a fun love themed dance class, craft projects and enjoy watching “Beauty and the Beast”. Dancers ages 8+ will have a lyrical class with Ms. Stephanie, love themed games and watch “Enchanted”. Pizza, popcorn and juice for all will be provided. $25 first child, $40 for 2, $55 for 3 or more.( use promo codes: “2lovebug” and “3lovebug” for discounts)
Costumes: We have most of our costumes ready for you to view at the desk. There are a few costumes still pending since we lost a week due to the snow storm. Thanks for your patience while we finalize those. Also please make sure that if your child was absent last week they are present this week as we work to get all their measurements entered, sized and ordered early this month.
New Classes: We are happy to announce the start of two new classes, beginning February 6th and 8th! Please see the desk to enroll or set up a trial class!
Tap for ages 8+ Wednesday 6:15-7:15pm. Tap shoes & loose comfortable clothes required. Hair needs to be in pony tail or bun please.
Musical Theatre: for ages 7-12 years old, Mondays 6:30-7:30pm. Loose comfortable clothes required, jazz shoes recommended. Hair needs to be in pony tail or bun please.
Dress code reminder: Just a quick reminder that CDT does have a uniform dress code. Please remember that your child needs to wear the appropriate color leotard. This leotard needs to be plain, no rhinestones, ruffles, bows or skirts.
Also hair needs to be in a ponytail. Level 1 and higher ballet classes must have a bun. Buns must have bobby pins. “Messy buns” do not withstand the rigors of turning and etc, so the instructor either has to wait or help dancer put their hair back up. Please make sure to use 10 bobby pins or more. Thanks
Show Dates/times: A few folks have asked me if I know the show times for the June show. I wish I had a more specific answer for you. Right now we are waiting for enrollment to settle down. There is a lot of fluctuation in January and February. Right now I’m trying to decide if a 3rd show is needed. I’ll have a better idea in March. Thank you for your patience!
Virtuoso: Congrats to our new group members! Rehearsal begin this week February 2nd 5:30-7pm for the mini’s and Saturday February 4th 10:30-2pm for the Jr. This is our biggest group yet, I’m super excited for a wonderful season.
