All level 3’s and 4’s are invited to a master ballet class with Christian Richards on Saturday, October 8th from 10-11:30am in Studio B. Christian Richards has danced, taught and choreographed professionally in a variety of idioms. He was a Guest Faulty member at Interlochen Arts Academy as well as the Artistic Director of the Community College of Baltimore county Dance company. He also served as the CCBC coordinator for American College Dance Festival and was the rehearsal assistant for Baltimore Youth Ballet’s Annual Nutcracker. This great class with a master teacher is $15 per student; you can register online or at the desk.
TUTU-BOO:
Join us on October 28th from 5-9pm for this fun Parent’s night out. Parents are welcome to drop their dancers ages 3 and above off for a fun night. Each age group will enjoy a fun Halloween hip hop dance class, pizza, and a movie. Younger dancers (ages 3-6) will enjoy a Halloween manicure, tutu making crafts and the movie, “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”. The older dancers (7 and up) will enjoy the movie “Hocus Pocus”, pumpkin decorating crafts and a glow-stick dance party! $25 per student or $45 for two sibling (enter promo code: 2tutuboo), $65 for three siblings (enter promo code: 3tutuboo). Don’t forget a blanket and pillow for movie time. Costumes or Halloween themed clothes are welcome (not scary please!)
Pretty Princess: Bring your Pretty Princess to this enchanted night out! They will have a ball while they paint their nails, do crafts, eat pizza, and watch Disney’s newest princess movie “Tangeled”! Wear your favorite princess dress and don’t forget to bring your royal pillow and blanket!
Santa Parade:CDT dancer’s ages 5 and up are welcome to walk in the city of Auburn’s Santa Parade. This event is usually the first weekend in December and is free to participate in. Dancer’s should wear jeans, and a white turtleneck long sleeve shirt. (remember to under-dress for warmth). CDT provides solider smocks and hats. Our troops are led by the Nutcracker of course! Pre-registration is required.
